ANA awards scholarships

ANA Aeroportos de Portugal, a VINCI Airports group company, awarded 30 scholarships for undergraduate university study for the year 2015-2016.

ANA’s scholarships, in the amount of €3000 per student, per year, paid in 10 monthly instalments, are awarded to students graduating from schools in areas surrounding our airports and can be renewed for a further two years, thereby covering a three-year undergraduate university degree.

Over the last four year, through its Social Responsibility policy, the company has supported the communities surrounding its airports, more specifically by helping underprivileged students to attend university.

This school year, ANA granted 12 new scholarships, selected among 84 candidates residing in the vicinity of our airports. We also renewed 10 scholarships going into year two and 8 going into year three.

Our aim is to strengthen our ties with the communities that surround our infrastructure in Lisbon, Porto, Alentejo, Algarve, Azores and Madeira. Our priority with this particular project is to promote inclusion through education. We believe that by helping these students we are contributing toward a better future.
