Ryanair launched a new route to Germany, Memmingen, in the Swabia region today, november, 4th.

This new route Faro-Memmingen will operate 2 times weekly, as part of Ryanair’s expanded Winter 2015 Faro Schedule, with 14 routes, including 5 times weekly services to Porto and extra flights to London, Dublin and Eindhoven.

In Faro, Ryanair’s Sales and Marketing Executive Barbara Casanova said:

“Ryanair is delighted to celebrate this new Faro route to Memmingen as part of our extended Faro Winter 2015 schedule, which includes 14 routes, 5 weekly services to Porto and extra flights to London, Dublin and Eindhoven. We are pleased with our continued growth at Faro since our first flight in 2003, where we have carried over 10 million customers.

To celebrate the start of our Winter schedule, we are releasing seats for sale from €19.99, which are available for booking until midnight Monday (9 Nov). Since these amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out.”

Alberto Mota Borges, Faro airport Director said:

“We are delighted that Ryanair is opening this winter route between Faro and Memmingen in Germany with 2 weekly frequencies, as well as increasing their operation on a number of other routes in Europe, namely Dublin, London Stansted and Eindhoven, which will contribute to lower the seasonality of the region. The Algarve is beautiful all year round and now even more people can experience it.”
