Ryanair opens 5 new routes from Lisbon

Since opening its new base in April of this year, the low cost company has continued to step up its Lisbon links: this winter Ryanair will open 5 new routes.

This week, Lisbon has 5 new routes operated by Ryanair: Lisbon-Rome Ciampino (26 October, 1/day), Lisbon-Milan Bergamo (26 October, 1/day), Lisbon-Hamburg (26 October, 1/day), Lisbon-Bremen (28 October, 3/week) and Lisbon-Eindhoven (28 October, 3/week).

Of the 5 new routes, only Bremen in Germany had no previous connections to Lisbon.

Besides these new routes, Ryanair will also increase the number of flights for existing connections: London (Stansted) from 14 to 21 weekly flights, Pisa from 2 to 3 weekly flights and Porto from 5 to 14 weekly flights.

Ryanair has another 10 routes: Brussels, Beauvais, Dole, Dublin, Hahn, Manchester, Marseille, Porto, Pisa and Stansted.

For the first time in its history, passenger traffic at Lisbon Airport was 1.8 million in the month of September, up 16% from last year.
